Girls' Brigade 44th Company.

Dear GB girls…

GB gals ooi ! I believe many of you have learnt a lot or at least learnt something through this camp. The learning does not only stop at the camp but rather the start to go on learning adventure in your life. =D

Personally, I want to Thank God for the things He has done for me/us in this camp…

1) Good weather
Remember it was raining so heavily on the first day??? But subsequently on the 2nd day, God has provided us with very good weather for low ropes element, windy weather for dragon boating and cool weather in the night for night navigation. On the 3rd day, God also provided good weather for us for the high ropes element and our campfire. Last day, he also gave us good weather till the camp ended. I remembered reaching home in the afternoon, and then it started raining 1-2 hours later. Wow... Isn’t it AMAZING that God has given us the good weather to enjoy the camp and for all our activities? PRAISE GOD and GIVE THANKS!

2) God’s Protection
God has really been good to all of us during the camp (each and every one of the girls and officers). No one was sick and no major injury (probably some rope burn and bruises from the ropes element and high wall). Despite all the risk and adventurous activities, we can see God’s special protection for us. *Claps offering to God*

3) Additional strength
Remember how exhausted you are after low ropes element and dragon boating. Yet you have to continue with our night navigation + learning knots in the middle of Istana park?? Didn’t you all made it till 4am in the morning?? And you can still wake up early the next day though you can sleep till 12pm?

Remembered these are ALL the things we have prayed and asked for during the start of the camp and during the 2nd day devotion? GOD ANSWERED PRAYERS!!!

Reflection of adventure camp
To claim your adventure badge, you need to submit a reflection (based on the questions that the trainer gave). This reflection submission will be returned to you after the officers have read it. It is yours to KEEP! You can submit in a creative ways (sketch book, reflection articles/letter in a jigsaw puzzle frame etc…). You are given $4 to claim for the materials you buy for making this reflection project. (*Please produce receipt. Eg Spend $5 can only claim $4. If spend $3 can only claim $3.)

Deadline for submission is by 19th December 2009 during Christmas party celebration. You can submit to the officers once you have completed your reflection.
